Neighborhood Farming Initiative
Ever drive through Hartford and wonder what we could do with all those empty and blighted lots? We did. Our CSA Program is converting empty and blighted space in the city of Hartford into hydroponic farms. Those farms provide both fresh produce and income to families in Hartford.
Next Step - Greenhouse!!
We are just getting started and you can help bring the next phase of change to our neighborhoods! We just received a grant that will match $2 for every dollar in donations we receive in August for a permanent greenhouse at Homestead!!!
