By buying a subscription, you will receive locally-grown vegetables each month from June to September 2024.

Small: $350. Good for a couple or a veggie-loving individual

Family: $650. Good for a family of four or a veggie-loving couple

What we do:

Levo’s approach to urban farming is new. We work with small-scale farmers and urban residents, primarily located in Hartford, to grow premium quality vegetables. In doing so, we provide income opportunities and direct food security support for people living in one of America’s most challenged food deserts. 

As a subscriber, you will receive a share of this premium produce each week from the beginning of June to the end of September.  Subscriptions are distributed each week at several locations around the Hartford region in Harford, West Hartford, and Bloomfield.  With this base subscription, you will have access to a variety of special opportunities (early or late-season production, specialty products, etc.). 

Levo’s Farming program empowers local people. We hire and train from communities that struggle with food access and provide market access to local urban farmers. By supporting this program you are helping to create a food system that empowers food insecure communities. In addition to employment, in 2023, the Levo program delivered more than 2000 pounds of fresh vegetables to area food pantries.

Subscribers will be expected to sign up for a location where they are picking their produce up before arriving. If you are going to be away or unable to pick up your subscription, there is an option to donate one’s produce for the week to families in need.
