The system uses simple, non-circulating, hydroponic technology to allow you to grow without dirt and daily watering! The wooden shell surrounds a plastic interior which hold nutrient rich water that feeds the plant. The Herb Box comes with a seed pod and nutrients, so all you have to do is add water which needs to be added only every couple weeks!

The Herb Box’s wooden shell is made from reclaimed wooden pallets which would otherwise go to waste. Every Garden is handmade by local Hartford artisans employed by Levo’s partner Fresh Start Pallets. Fresh Start provides employment and skills training to people who struggle to obtain employment, such as the homeless, the formerly incarcerated, and refugees.
